This site is built using Sinatra (running under Apache/Passenger) which provides some background processing to pull in activity streams from Twitter, Google Reader, my Wirestorm blog, Flickr and various other sources. This data is then stored in a simple sqlite database accessed via the Sequel database toolkit.

The client-side is super-simple jQuery javascript, well-formatted HTML5 and CSS. The header animations are all done using HTML5's <canvas/> tag; not a drop of Flash.
